Trend Clothes Co: Tampa’s Newest Fashion Boutique

Moving to Tampa, I knew I had to work double-time to establish my name as a life + style blogger. Unlike Manila where partnering with bloggers has become the norm, companies in Tampa lay their money down more on traditional advertising like television and print. So when I received an invitation from Trend Clothes Co — an up-and-coming fashion boutique in Tampa, I was really excited. The launch featured a runway show of this month’s current line and pop-up shop which also included a showcase from Chloe and Isabel, a lifestyle and jewelry brand.

Louis Vuitton Launches First Perfume Collection

A couple of weeks ago, I finally reached the peak of cabin fever. When I was living in Manila I was always out and about so I’m not used to being stuck at home 7 days a week. South Carolina Stopover

Our first stopover on the way home to Tampa, Florida was South Carolina. I’ve been in the US for more than a month now. I’m still adjusting to my new environment and so far I’m doing okay. Florida weather is similar to the Philippines’ so I didn’t have a hard time acclimating. I don’t really miss the Philippines, but I do miss my loved ones and pets back home.

It’s now summer here but it has been really humid outside. I learned that during the summer, Tampa Bay often gets thunderstorms almost every afternoon, earning it the title “lightning capital of the US.” This city is well-known for thunderstorms that it even named its hockey team the Tampa Bay Lightning (a.k.a. Bolts).
