#YolandaPH

Typhoon Yolanda, with international name Haiyan, is moving closer to the Philippines, carrying “maximum sustained winds of 150 kilometers per hour near the center, and gusts of up to 185 km/h” according to PAGASA. It is said to be one of the strongest and the most dangerous typhoons to ever hit the country.

Weather Philippines is advising that “Residents and visitors along Northeastern Mindanao, Visayas, Bicol Region and Eastern Luzon should closely monitor the development of Haiyan.” The government and LGUs have been anticipating the damage the super typhoon may cause, and as early as yesterday have posted several hotlines that the people may contact in case there is a need for rescue. Here are several;

I will update this list as soon as I get more information. In the meantime, please please keep yourselves, loved ones, and pets safe. Evacuate if the LGUs order you to do so. Let’s keep praying that this typhoon will weaken once it makes a landfall. It would be a miracle, but there’s nothing impossible with prayer. We have always been resilient, I know we’ll come out of this better and stronger.

Luna Park

One thing I love about Quezon City (where I live) is the abundance of trees. It may not be the cleanest place but it sure is the greenest, which is one of the reasons I prefer to stay in the city for as long as I can. The parks remind me so much of my hometown, Naga, that I sorely miss.

This is what I wore during the Gear4 media launch in Taguig on Thursday, which I will blog about really soon. Angry Birds fans, watch out! 🙂

My housemates would often tease me that they can only find one color scheme in my closet. And if you’re a regular visitor of my blog, you’ll know what color they’re pertaining to. Dun dun dun… PINK. Duh. Then I would vehemently deny that pink is my favorite color. I SWEAR. And of course, they’re unconvinced haha. But pink is such a pretty color, yes? Maybe too girly, but you can’t deny it looks really good on a girl, and sometimes even on boys. Sometimes.

Hype this look on lookbook and chictopia! 🙂

I’m leaving you with this beautiful but quite haunting song by the Pet Shop Boys, a 1980s English electronic dance music duo regarded by Guinness as one of UK’s most successful musicians.
