Phantogram

I don’t normally wear leather, or leatherettes, unless I’m late for work. Just kidding. But I was so knocked out I woke up late and I didn’t have time to think of what to wear for work. What I did was I grabbed the first top and bottom I saw in my closet (because apparently most of my stuff were in the laundry heh. Oh the cons of living away from your parents.) and zoomed out of my apartment. So don’t bother asking why my hair looks uncombed. Lol. I’m a busy woman, what can I do? 😛

Thankfully, some  elements in my outfit matched. I don’t accessorize a lot because it’s too uncomfortable especially when you’re taking public transportation. So I wore my trusty Liz Claiborne watch (it’s a gift from the boyfriend so I wear it all the time) and necklace which has hints of pink.

Chad and I were trying to test a project–phantogram-ish photos in which a pair of 2D pictures are made to look like 3D such as the ones below. We hope to complete it really soon. Of course, my blog readers will get the first dibs. 😉

Forever 21 heels

I’m sorry I’ve been neglecting my blog again. I’ve been having an emotionally challenging week, but I’m slowly recovering though—thanks to 9gag, music, and loved ones. It’s great to have things and people you can always turn to during hard times. In most girls’ cases though, aside from the previously mentioned ones, shopping and make up are surefire ways to brighten their days. So yesterday, I dragged my ass out of bed and decided to make a post related to school fashion and make up. And above and below are what I came up with.

A lot of female students, most especially those who are in college, would prefer to look made up before heading to school. Below is one of my favorite looks (aside from the everyday make-up look)—it’s not too thick and flashy so it’s definitely appropriate for school.

I only have a limited palette, so I used my pink blush as the base instead. I like pink  because it brightens the eyes, much like when we put blush on our cheeks. And then I placed a gold eyeshadow from Majolica Majorca on top and blended it with the pink “eyeshadow” at the middle.  I also used a brown liquid eyeliner for a more natural effect.

See? It looks so natural. And then dab a bit of pink blush on the cheeks for a healthier look.

Lastly, put some pink lip gloss and you’re ready to go.

I hope you like the whole look! If you do, hype this look on lookbook and chictopia. 🙂

Summer Love blog giveaway is still ongoing!

How I Wear My Man’s Shirt

I’ve been wearing this shirt almost every week since I bought it last year.

One thing I love about oversized garments, in this case a shirt from Bench’s men’s department (yes, with glitters), is they are very easy to wear. I don’t have to worry about my tummy protruding whenever I overeat.

Despite this shirt being tailored for men, it does not mean one cannot make it suitable for ladies as well. This shirt could easily be mistaken for a woman’s though, perhaps due to the color and the glitters. But then again, the cut and proportions are meant for medium-built boys, so I often tuck this in or wear it with daisy dukes or skirts. Hello, Gadybee glasses and beanie!

Jeffrey Campbell Foxy-Inspired Platforms from Asianvogue

And of course, heels always make every look more ladylike.

My new job has literally changed my sleeping habits, I was up all night yesterday. Sad to say, I have noticed my eyes are looking duller. My ultimate solution for this problem, aside from eye creams and what not, is liquid eyeliner. For some reason, it always makes the eyes look livelier. I painted the upper contours of my eyes with thick black liner and voila!—no more dead eyes. I do not like putting pencil liners on my lower lids, it makes my eyes look droopy, which is obviously not gonna help with my situation at the moment.

Hype this look on lookbook and chictopia!

Do not forget to join my two ongoing giveaways—SLASH and Grazie Mille! 🙂

Suprises and Giveaways

I’m supposed to reveal my First Anniversary Blog Giveaway on November 6, but I couldn’t resist not telling you a bit about it. Well, at least you know now what to expect on the sixth. HAHA.

So below are some clues:

1. TSOKNAT

Tsoknat manufactures handmade bags for customers who appreciate modern, playful, and quirky designs. It is owned by Toni Rose Palma, who hails from Naga City, the hometown that I sorely miss. Visit Tsoknat’s online shop or like the facebook page to know more about their products and sales.

 2. ASIANVOGUE SHOP

Asianvogue Shop, an online fashion boutique from the Philippines, was established on May 2009 by Guia del Rosario. The shop’s products cater to “every fashionista’s ever-changing style. The shop provides shoppers with an extensive selection of fashion forward footwears and bags.” Visit/Like  their multiply and facebook site to get updates on products and sales.

3. ANTLER

“Antler is an online store/contemporary business that provides fashion alternatives for and caters to bold fashionistas, tastemakers, artists, and just everyone.

Each material in the Antler collections are produced with the highest attention to detail. ”

Like Antler’s facebook page to view on sale items. Their items are so gorgeous that I decided to buy one for myself, which I blabbed about here.

4. The Closet Goddess

The Closet Goddess is owned by Rowena Cruz, also a talented make-up artist. Her shop boasts of trendy and imported pieces that will not hurt your budget. Si Kim Chiu lang naman ang regular customer niya.

Like TCG’s facebook page here.

5. Decadence Theater (Decathea)

Decathea sells handmade and customized accessories. It is owned by Eloisa Molina, who happens to be my officemate (HAHA). Her shop makes accessories based on customer preferences (e.g., color, material, design). Like Decathea’s facebook page to view products.

6. Zeros and Fives

And of course, my little online shop/website fanpage. I gotta make some contribution to this giveaway of course. Initially, my plan was to sell good finds from bazaars and thrift stores, but I couldn’t attend to it yet. Zeros and Fives already has some items on hand, which include rings and earrings. Like the facebook page to see what I have in store for you, guys. 🙂

ARE YOU EXCITED? Well I am! Do not forget to come back on November 6 to know how to join in my blog giveaway and see the exciting prizes that await the winner!

Meanwhile, I will leave you these shots of the stuff I wore to the VANS fashion show yesterday:

Fedora hat | Tube top from Divisoria | Vest with scarf from Shopaholic| Denim shorts from Bench | Rings from Zeros and Fives | Wedges from Luzzi (Thanks, Nez!)

Hype this look on lookbook and chictopia.

I apologize for the photo quality. There is something wrong with the uploading/internet I think. Ugh.

Anyway, follow me on Twitter for updates on the giveaway!
